"An explosion of love, set to jazz!" That’s
the way one person described it. Building on last year's successful
event, Transformative Visions 2010 welcomed a standing-room-only crowd
to Oakland's Studio One Art Center for an afternoon of
creative celebration.
Guests were treated to powerful and positive spoken word performances by Zenju Earthlyn Manuel, Paradise Free JahLove, Antoinette Bumekpor, Victor Harris, Kamau Bakari, and Cat Brooks. The Richard Howell Quintet provided improvisational jazz accompaniment. Photos link to performer websites (where available). All creative content copyright to individual artists.
