The sacred rhythms of the drum called the community to gather in the theater at Studio One where we were treated to Jazz in the Moment with the Richard Howell Quintet.
The stellar line-up included E.W. Wainwright on drums, Fred Harris on piano, Gary Brown on bass, Destiny Muhammad on harp and vocals, Richard Howell on sax and vocals, and Khalil Shaheed sitting in on trumpet.
